The Resource Closet was born from lived experience.
Jane Marryshow is a survivor of domestic violence who understands what it means to leave quietly and rebuild intentionally.
She understands the in-between season, where strength is required but support is still needed.
But her connection to clothing and confidence began long before that.
Growing up, she watched her mother sew dresses by hand. She understood early that clothing is more than fabric. It can shape how a woman walks into the world.
That lesson stayed with her. Clothing carries dignity. It can restore confidence, shift posture, and help a woman step into spaces that once felt uncertain.
During seasons of transition, even something as simple as clothing can impact confidence and self-worth.
What a woman wears to court.
What she wears to an interview.
What she wears when she is trying to feel like herself again.
Years later, that understanding became the foundation for The Resource Closet — a space designed to help women move forward with dignity, confidence, and the courage to begin again.
Through both a boutique-style experience and curated online requests, women are given the opportunity to choose pieces that help them feel seen, confident, and ready for what comes next.
Heard. Empowered. Restored.
